eTreppid is now seeking one research scientist to join the R&D team focusing on automated surveillance systems.  A strong desire to succeed and passion for learning are the key.

Responsibilities of the positions include prototyping, development, and optimization of algorithms for automated surveillance systems. Areas of interest include machine learning, pattern recognition, information fusion and video analysis.  

Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. in CE or related fields with a proven record in research, innovative thinking, real world problem solving and fast prototyping. Candidates should have C/C++ proficiency on MS Windows platform.  Experience in developing real-time video processing system and current knowledge of research literature in Machine learning and Computer Vision with a history of publication in the field will be a big plus.  Candidates need to have good presentation and communication skills, be able to work independently on problems, be an effective team player and be willing to accept challenges and responsibilities.
