A post-doctoral research position is open for a joint project between the School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University and the A*Star Institute for Infocomm Research. The successful candidate will be involved in research and development in the areas of media (text, image, audio, video) understanding as well as cross-media analysis and fusion. He/she will also play an instrumental role in coordinating the effort of multiple research teams working on various aspects of the project. Applicants for the position should satisfy the following requirement. 1. A recent PhD degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. 2. A strong track record of research and publications in the areas of multimedia (text, image, audio, video) recognition and analysis. 3. Skilled in programming and experience in developing application prototypes.
