 The Chinese New Year is around the corner. Riding on the festive mood,
we are planning to hold a PREMIA Members’ Night on the 12th day of the
Chinese New Year, i.e. 6 February 2009 (Friday), at Singapore
Polytechnic Graduates' Guild, 1010 Dover Road (nearest MRT station is
EW22 DOVER, map). We promise that this is going to
be an exciting night for our members. (Update: Photos of Members' Night are appended at the end.)
First of all, an invited talk will be given by eminent speaker. Second, there will be a buffet meal and Chinese snacks for the night, and the speaker will stay on with us for any questions. Third, each participant (member or non-member) will have a chance in the sure-win Hong Bao Lucky Draw. Each Hong Bao contains $10 cash and a POPULAR voucher ranging from $10 to $50. There is however, a registration fee of $10 for each member. Each member may also bring one non-member guest by paying a $30 registration for the guest.
Please note that the number of participants for the night is limited to 50 due to the space constraint. So please register and pay the registration fee early to avoid disappointment. The online registration will close on 31 January 2009. However, the registration may close earlier if the quota of registration is reached.
Please register online (Login -> Events and Activities -> PREMIA Members' Night 2009) and provide your member’s id (which you may find from the Member's Area after logging in using your web account). If you wish to bring a guest, please register on your guest’s behalf and put your name in the Affiliation box. You may pay the registration fee ($10 for members and $30 for guests) in one of the following ways:
(1) by post: Mail your cheque (payable to PREMIA) to Dr. Shi Daming (ASDMShi@ntu.edu.sg, School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, 50 Nanyang Avenue, Singapore 639798);
(2) by internet banking transfer: email Dr. Shi Daming at ASDMShi@ntu.edu.sg for PREMIA bank account’s details;
