 Dr. Guan Cuntai was elected as President and Prof. Tan Chew Lim as Vice-President at the AGM 2008. The following members were elected to the remaining positions of the Board: Prof. Chan Kap Luk, Prof. Andrzej Sluzek, Dr. Lee Hwee Kuan, Dr. Jimmy Liu, Dr. Terence Sim, Dr. Shi Daming.
The following five ICPR 2008 student travel grant awardees were announced at the AGM 2008: LI Linlin (NUS/SOC), YE Ning (NUS/SOC), Sriganesh Maniganahalli SRIHARI (NUS/SOC), Omid DEHZANGI (NTU/SCE), TAN Guoxian (NTU/COE).
